Adaptation of an autobiography I was Born Under a Lucky Star. This is a subjective statement by the important Romanian writer and activist Elena Lacková. This writing maps the gap between late 1920s and the late 1970s. It describes life and traditions in a Romanian residential during the first republic in Velký Šariš and also the persecution of Romanians in Slovakia. The post-war development is crucial for our hero. When the Communists seized power in Czechoslovakia, Elena becomes the delegate of justice that everyone should have the same opportunities and rights. Elena works as an enlightenment worker and delegate of the Czechoslovak Red Cross. She studies at university and fights for the Romanians rights in communist conventions. All her comrades express her their supports but the reality is completely different.
